Planning Blog: Title Design

This PowerPoint document contains all the information about what the title should be in the movie's opening sequence. There is a name for each title and what to call it. It shows the fonts, colors and sizes to use. I also indicated the spacing between characters. The tentative titles of each title are also posted on Google Slides. We've already talked about how the title transitions into the movie and how long each one is on screen. is to I used the same size, color, and font for each title to make the titles look consistent. The same applies to fade-ins and fade-outs and the length of time each track is displayed on screen. This is the link to the PowerPoint that I made for this blog: <iframe src="https://browardcountyschools-my.sharepoint.com/personal/0613070096_my_browardschools_com/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc={789f40ca-b0ac-4e01-bc70-4970b2476fbb}&action=embedview&wdAr=1.7777777777777777" width="476px" height="288px" fram

Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

For our project, we chose to shoot at my home or apartment complex. That's because I do not need a lot of space for filming. Janiaya and Janae are all here and we can start shooting. Another good thing about this place is the security included. All of our parents agreed to let us film at this location. My parents also agreed to have an adult supervise us at all times in case something went wrong. When using something that is dangerous if used incorrectly, an adult will always be there in case of emergency. Another safety aspect of the community is that it has 24/7 security, making it safe to shoot after dark if necessary. The condo is gated for extra safety and comfort. Our group is not involved in any after school activities that would make it hard to schedule a filming time. Once we have a date and time that we know will work 100%, we will let you know on the production blog. We're so excited to make this film that it's a priority in all our schedules. Overall, it's e

Jennifer's House We see a young women named Jennifer sitting down on her couch alone. On her couch she is reading out loud about a serial killer on the loose to herself. Jennifer (To herself) Breaking News! The San Antonio Police Department is dispelling rumors of a serial killer on the loose in the city. “We have found no factual basis on these claims,” SAPD posted on Facebook. It’s the same social media site where dozens of people have been posting and sharing posts warning others that a serial killer was targeting female victims. The posts have also been seen on Twitter and Reddit claiming that nine women had been murdered so far. SAPD said they are aware of the posts and wanted to reassure the public to not be alarmed, calling the posts “unsubstantiated.” Jennifer (To her mom) Oh my god mom! Have you heard the latest news? In her own room. Shouting back to her daughter as she makes her way to the couch where her daughter is. Esther (To Jennifer) No what's happened? Jenn

Decision Blog: After doing some research I have concluded with this information. A comedy movie is a movie that is made to make the audience laugh. Comedy is light-hearted drama created to entertain, amuse, and please. The comedy genre humorously exaggerates situations, language, plot, and characters. Comedy looks at life's shortcomings, weaknesses, and frustrations, and offers hilarity and a temporary escape from everyday life. Humor can be serious or pessimistic, but usually has a happy ending. Comedy usually comes in two general forms. Comedian-driven (well-timed gags, jokes, skits) and situational comedy told within a story. Comedic elements of both may appear together or overlap. Comedy hybrids often exist alongside other major genres such as musical comedies, horror comedies, and comedy thrillers. Comedy is also classified into various subgenres. Comedy comes in many varieties, types, or forms, such as: Romantic Comedy, Crime/Caper Comedy, Sports Comedy, Teenage or Youth C

Common CAMS- Birds Eye/ High Angle Close Up Tracking or Panning Shot Reverse Shot Tilted Angle Low Angles Hand Held Camera Shot Common CLAMPS- Horror movie settings are usually dark rural locations or abandoned places where no one goes. Most places are deserted and isolated. This creates mystery and suspicion throughout the film. The main props in horror movies are weapons such as knives, axes, and chainsaws that bring about a slow and painful death. The heavier the gun, the better the reaction to the movie. Because horror movies are supposed to be pretty scary. Horror movies usually take place in the dark of night. Shadows bring fear to the audience. Shadows are created by low-key lighting to add the effect of uncertainty. Fear of the unknown terrifies the audience. Most people (mainly victims) in horror movies dress casually, but a lot of effort is put into their costumes to give clues to their role and personality in the film. Common Editing- Transitions Special Effects Shot

Once again I decided to work with Janae Shinglette. I think she has the great qualities needed to make our group work properly. Janae and I bounce off each other. Janae has a lot of creativity that we believe will help us take our work to the next level. When she does something she gives absolutely everything. She's always trying to outdo herself, always finding new ways to make things better. She's someone you can trust in your corner. Working with Janae would be fun and exciting as well as efficient and successful. Janae and I are working towards the same goal. This just helps make this whole process stress-free and easy for both of us. Of course, Janae and my skills and personality types work well together. To be a good team player, it's important to have an unbiased awareness of your strengths and weaknesses. That's Janae. That's why we believe we can work together without worrying. Janae knows how to delegate effectively. This is ideal as they need to understan

Back Again

Hello it's me again. I used to be totally nervous about this project, but now I think I'm ready. I believe I am prepared mentally for this particular project. I'm worried that the video will be choppy or that something will go wrong when shooting. Although there may be some doubts, for the most part I am looking forward to filming the group's music video and choosing the songs. After talking about it and learning more about it and gaining more and more experience, I started to feel calmer and less nervous. Instead, I will be ready for whatever happens. After my last few projects, I gained some experience, which I can definitely apply to this final project. I learned how to properly edit, how to make camera angles and movements look great, and how to manipulate sound. I am finally ready to bring everything I have learned so far to this project. I can put everything I have learned into this final project so this way I can see the improvement within my own work. This is a
