Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

For our project, we chose to shoot at my home or apartment complex. That's because I do not need a lot of space for filming. Janiaya and Janae are all here and we can start shooting. Another good thing about this place is the security included. All of our parents agreed to let us film at this location. My parents also agreed to have an adult supervise us at all times in case something went wrong. When using something that is dangerous if used incorrectly, an adult will always be there in case of emergency. Another safety aspect of the community is that it has 24/7 security, making it safe to shoot after dark if necessary. The condo is gated for extra safety and comfort. Our group is not involved in any after school activities that would make it hard to schedule a filming time. Once we have a date and time that we know will work 100%, we will let you know on the production blog. We're so excited to make this film that it's a priority in all our schedules. Overall, it's easy to find a place in the shooting schedule, especially when you don't have any other commitments and responsibilities that would require your attention. Which mean this task is going to have all of my attention. It is important to prioritize and make sure that filming is what you really want to do and is in line with your overall goals and values. One way to create leeway in your shoot schedule is to block certain time slots in advance and plan your other activities around those blocks. You may also need to delegate some tasks to others in order to have more shooting time. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices and compromises to make room for shooting. This can mean limiting social activities or taking time off from work. Communication is key when it comes to scheduling conflicts. If you're struggling to fit locations into your schedule, it's important to be transparent with your crew and let them know your limits. When it comes to scheduling, it's important to be flexible and adaptable. The unexpected can always happen, so it's important to have a backup plan in case something goes wrong or changes at the last minute.
