Comparing 9, the short, and 9, the full-length movie
Short Films: Honestly, this was one of the scariest movies I've seen in a long time no one spoke with no more scenes, this animated world seemed abandoned. Two doll-like creatures with numbers 5 and 9 written on their backs form the backbone of the story. They encounter this mechanical beast that looks like a combination of a dog and a lion, but is made entirely of metal. It roars violently and has bright green eyes after kidnapping five people, the monster kills him with a green portal device. He became more proud of his personality. The ninth person, the other, ran away and hid in fear. Eventually, we witness Number Nine discovering these random objects and assembling them into a torch. However, Number Nine uses a light bulb to lure the monster into an abandoned cave-like environment, where it becomes stuck on a large wooden plank. Just when all seems hopeless, Number Nine manages to swing himself off the board, find a safe spot, and knock the monster off the board and onto the floor. However, he noticed that the green light was still on when Number Nine combined these two pieces of green ice, glowing dolls, like ghostly dolls, began to appear from the light. The animation in this movie has some jerky moments, but let's not forget that it was created more than a decade ago. Over time, technology has evolved significantly
Full Movie: When 9 comes back to life, he discovers that he lives in a post-apocalyptic world where the only signs of life are sentient rag dolls like him and the machines that hunt them I realize that there is humanity has disappeared from the earth. Despite being the youngest member of the gang, 9 convinces his comrades that the only way to confront the machine is to stop hiding and attack, finding out the motive for the Machine's destruction. As they discovered, society depends on their success or failure. It was another dark movie the scene was really dark. However, this time the plot is more detailed. His personality gradually changes as he gains confidence and motivation. Despite the similarities, this film is more action-packed and gives the characters more dynamics than its predecessor. The director was able to bring such powerful and brave emotions to the screen without using any actual dialogue.
Comparison Nine's personality traits were revealed in more detail in the feature film than in the short film. This is because directors have more time to implement more complex and nuanced plots. However, I preferred the short film as it was more direct, concise, and I enjoyed it more. Both films started out with a sense of pessimism due to their use of dark post-apocalyptic settings. However, this laid the foundation for later heroic deeds.
