Casual Filming Process

 In this blog I will be discussing how I have my filming process planned out. I intend on filming whenever I can. Which this will most likely be during the weekend. I say this due to the fact that the actors who are going to be in me short film I usually see over the weekend. I will also need to figure out my actors work schedules to make sure my filming schedule goes along with it. The location of my filming will be in my aunts house. I chose this location because this is usually where we are always at. This is a fitting locations because of the different rooms inside. Which we can use to do all of the filming. My participants will consist of my 2 friends and my cousin. My cousin has a 50/50 chance of being in my short film due to him being busy majority of the time. The health and safety of everyone in this process is ensured due to the fact that nothing within this process puts them at jeopardy. As of right now the props are not known for certain. That is an area where I would like to do more research. As for the costumes there are none I would prefer they just wear their regular clothes. Meaning that they would wear whatever they please. My back up plan is to just film whenever or wherever I see them. The props I would just use things around my house just in case of anything. This is the planning so far. I do believe I could do some tweaking which I will be doing just to ensure that my short film is the best it possibly can be.

Intro Blog: The Nerves

Hello, it's me again. I prepared myself mentally  for this particular project. I was completely nervous about this project before, but now I think I'm ready. I'm a little worried, but overall I'm calm. I'm worried that my job will be unstable, that something will go wrong when I shoot, that the image will be problematic. I may have some questions, but overall I'm looking forward to filming and getting back on set. I was nervous before because I had no experience creating videos like this. Now that I'm working alone, I'm even more nervous. This time, no one gave me constructive criticism or stood out. After talking about it and learning more about it, I felt calmer and less nervous. Group Blog: Going Solo

I’m back and ready for something new. I decided to switch it up and this time I chose to work alone. I have tried to work with others before and although it wasn’t bad I feel as if I want to go at my own paste. Something I didn’t enjoy with working with someone else was having to depend on them. I rather be working independently and that way I know I’m doing the best I can do. Working by myself can benefit me in many ways, working alone allows me to take full control and make decisions without relying on others. I can develop a strong sense of self-discipline when working independently, as I’ll need to stay focused and motivated.
