Genre Research- Horror

 a. Common camera angles, movements, and shots in the horror genre include low angles to create a sense of unease, tracking shots to build suspense, and close-ups to capture intense emotions.

b. Common sounds in the horror genre include eerie music, sudden loud noises, and chilling screams that can send shivers down your spine.

c. Common mise-en-scene (CLAMPS) in the horror genre include dim lighting, creepy locations like haunted houses or dark forests, atmospheric fog, menacing props, and spooky costumes.

d. Common editing techniques in the horror genre include jump cuts to create quick scares, slow-motion shots for heightened tension, and rapid cuts during intense moments to increase the sense of chaos.

e. Example films of the horror genre include classics like "Psycho," "The Shining," and "Halloween," as well as more recent movies like "Get Out," "Hereditary," and "A Quiet Place."

As for the elements of the genre that I like, I enjoy the suspenseful atmosphere, the adrenaline rush of jump scares, and the creative ways that horror movies can explore deeper fears and psychological themes.

On the other hand, there are some elements of the genre that don't appeal to me, such as excessive gore or violence. I prefer horror movies that rely more on psychological suspense rather than solely relying on graphic imagery.
