Production Blog: Finishing the Title Designs
Today my group completed the editing process. Editing continued, starting with completing the title design with the opening sequence. I started this because I was halfway through the last time I worked on an edit. Then I added a transition. First, I added a transition between each title card. Then I added transitions between each scene. Transitions between scenes improve the flow of the opening sequence. After the transition, he muted one in the scene. We muted this scene so we can add some exciting music. Adding exciting music made this scene stand out. This scene stood out because there was no other tone to offset the exciting music, which is why this exciting music stood out in this scene. I then added a squeaky sound to the opening sequence. Unfortunately, the team alone could not make these sounds, so we did this. The floor I recorded was completely squeaky, so I couldn't make a squeak sound. So there is no way for me to generate sound. This made me and my teammates decide to only use squeak sounds. After my teammates and I found the perfect audio, we incorporated it into his opening sequence. After that, we reviewed the opening sequence together after the cut. When my teammates and I saw the final result after editing, I was very happy with the result and so were they. We were both happy, so we completed the editing process.
