Production Blog: More Shots Filmed

 Today I made some more progress with my filming. I have filmed two more scenes for my opening credits. The first scene I recorded is the scene where the main character calls out to her mother. When filming the scene I had to make sure everything was perfect. When I say everything I mean in terms of lighting, camera, angles, etc. I had to do a couple of takes just to make sure that I get the perfect take. In some of the takes that I did not use there were some background noises that were very overwhelming. In some of the takes that I did not use because my iPhone was angled wrong. I shot this scene using my iPhone because of the quality. I thought that with my iPhone the quality of my shots will turn out better which they did the second seen that I recorded today would be of the main characters, mother. In this scene, the main characters mother is just folding some clothes in her room. This is sort of a way to introduce this character because there is going to be some dialogue between them. This scene as well. Had to be taken multiple times just to make sure that it was perfect. I also shot this scene on my iPhone due to get better quality and having more space on my iPhone. With me having more space on my iPhone I was able to take multiple shots and perfect the scenes. These scenes still need to have some editing and to be tweaked a little. I say this due to the fact that since these are two separate scenes, they need to go with each other smoothly. They need to go together smoothly rather than all sharp and all over the place so that, this has a better result. But after taking multiple takes of both of the scenes today, I am very proud of the progress that I have made and I am feeling very confident for what is to come.

Intro Blog: The Nerves

Hello, it's me again. I prepared myself mentally  for this particular project. I was completely nervous about this project before, but now I think I'm ready. I'm a little worried, but overall I'm calm. I'm worried that my job will be unstable, that something will go wrong when I shoot, that the image will be problematic. I may have some questions, but overall I'm looking forward to filming and getting back on set. I was nervous before because I had no experience creating videos like this. Now that I'm working alone, I'm even more nervous. This time, no one gave me constructive criticism or stood out. After talking about it and learning more about it, I felt calmer and less nervous. Because I knew I couldn't get lost. Instead, I wanted to be prepared for whatever was to come. After subsequent projects I gained some experience that I will definitely use for this project. Group Blog: Going Solo

I’m back and ready for something new. I decided to switch it up and this time I chose to work alone. I have tried to work with others before and although it wasn’t bad I feel as if I want to go at my own paste. Something I didn’t enjoy with working with someone else was having to depend on them. I rather be working independently and that way I know I’m doing the best I can do. Working by myself can benefit me in many ways, working alone allows me to take full control and make decisions without relying on others. I can develop a strong sense of self-discipline when working independently, as I’ll need to stay focused and motivated. I have the freedom to set your my own schedule and work at my own pace, which can be a big advantage.
