Thanksgiving Filming

 Today was the start of my filming process. Today I filmed about four shots. Although I did film for shots I will only be using to and using the others for back up. Today we had a Thanksgiving dinner at my family members house. Due to this I took this as my opportunity to start my filming process. With this being a family dinner everyone was there which gave me A lot of actors to put into my music video. My first shot that I’ve filmed was of my family all together eating. I feel the shot due to it fitting the idea of my music video. If it’s the idea of a music video Because it demonstrates a family being altogether. This shot in particular I had to do a couple of retakes. I had to do a couple of retakes due to the fact that I had to make sure everything was perfect into my liking. I had a minor issue with making sure that everyone was in the shot. To fix this issue I simply just used a camera movement. That camera movement being pan and tilt. My second shot that I film today was of my cousin and our family friend taking pictures together by a Christmas tree. Are you filmed this shot because it resembled friendship and demonstrated how the holidays are coming up. With this shot I filmed this with a pan movement. Today I was the Director of the filming.  With me being the Director I got to make sure that everything was to my liking and was perfect. Overall I would say that I got a good start to my filming process.

  "Write what you have the resources for" is a powerful adage to follow when creating plots and screenplays. Intro Blog: The Nerves

Hello, it's me again. I prepared myself mentally  for this particular project. I was completely nervous about this project before, but now I think I'm ready. I'm a little worried, but overall I'm calm. I'm worried that my job will be unstable, that something will go wrong when I shoot, that the image will be problematic. I may have some questions, but overall I'm looking forward to filming and getting back on set. I was nervous before because I had no experience creating videos like this. Now that I'm working alone, I'm even more nervous. This time, no one gave me constructive criticism or stood out. After talking about it and learning more about it, I felt calmer and less nervous. Because I knew I couldn't get lost. Instead, I wanted to be prepared for whatever was to come. After subsequent projects I gained some experience that I will definitely use for this project. Group Blog: Going Solo

I’m back and ready for something new. I decided to switch it up and this time I chose to work alone. I have tried to work with others before and although it wasn’t bad I feel as if I want to go at my own paste. Something I didn’t enjoy with working with someone else was having to depend on them. I rather be working independently and that way I know I’m doing the best I can do. Working by myself can benefit me in many ways, working alone allows me to take full control and make decisions without relying on others. I can develop a strong sense of self-discipline when working independently, as I’ll need to stay focused and motivated. I have the freedom to set your my own schedule and work at my own pace, which can be a big advantage. Working alone gives me the space to explore my own ideas and think outside the box without any external influences.
