Editing Blog

My group and I have not started our editing process. We have to wrap up our filming and get our last scene filmed. Once we have concluded our filming process and we have everything necessary to move forward, we will start editing. We will do all of our editing on our iPads and possibly our mother's computer. We will do the editing from our iPads and possibly our mother's computer because of iMovie and because we have direct access to both the iPad and the computer. Once we get to the editing, we are going to edit our scenes so that they align and play in the correct order. We are going to have to cut down on some scenes. Some scenes my group and I filmed came out to be 5-10 seconds. So, once we edit that and do that without making it look choppy, we can move on. My group will move on to the music part, the layout of the screen, as well as the movements we wanted for 3 of our scenes. We have to edit the whole commercial so that there is music playing throughout the whole time. In the first half, we want the music to be what people mostly hear, but in the last half, we need to edit the music so that it is low enough for the actors to be heard. For the last half of the commercial, we are possibly going to edit the scenes so that it is a split screen with all the actors. We are going to edit it to make those scenes have a fade in and fade out. We are going to edit it with those movements so that it all flows together. When we edit, we are going to make sure we have a fade out at the end to conclude the commercial. We are going to have to edit throughout the whole commercial because of the visuals we want. We are going to edit a Fiji water bottle in the center of the screen but edit it to disappear for the last half. We are going to do all of this editing so that it resembles the Fiji water commercials. We want it to resemble the commercials and have the specific things that Fiji water commercials always have.
